Itinerary
Arrival Day in Menorca (Arrival
Arrive at Menorca. Next, transfer from the airport to the hotel in Maó (optional) where the first night will be spent in Menorca. We will have a welcome meeting with a local guide speaking English and French.

Cala en Porter to Sant Tomàs
Transfer to Cala en Porter. We will then start our route at the largest beach on the island, Cala en Porter to Son Bou Beach, where a paleo-Christian basilica is located as well as a dune bar of a great ecologic value. We will then head inland to find Prat de Son Bou or the Ses Canessies lagoon, the most important orchards after the Natural Park. We will then arrive at Sant Tomàs.

Sant Tomàs to Cala Galdana
Known as the ravines hiking, today we will cross the most important and astonishing ravines of the island. We depart right from the hotel to cross the beach of Sant Tomàs and Sant Adeodat and go to the beach of Binigaus. At the beginning of our hike, we can visit the caves of Es Coloms. We cross the croplands of Binigaus, the beautiful ravines of Trebalúger and Es Calafat. Then we will continue our hike until the idyllic Cala Mitjana that comes before the virgin corner of Cala Mitjaneta. We will follow the path until we come to Cala Galdana. At the Algendar ravine of Cala Galdana, we will see various types of birds and we will explore the different caves and grottos this magical place offers.

Cala Galdana to Son Saura Beacch
Often thought of as one of the most spectacular days of our trek, today we cross the beautiful turquoise coves of Menorca. We begin the hike to Cala Galdana to get to Cala Macarella and Macarelleta, home to many aquatic species coexisting among the reeds of Santa Anna. Then, we will cross wild olive woods and juniper woods, arriving at the dunes of the paradisiacal beach of Cala en Turqueta. Along the route, we will pass through protected areas with rocky areas that intersect ravines and creeks. Before we get to Son Saura, take time to relax in almost paradise, Cala Talaier. We will then transfer from Son Saura to Ciutadella hotel.

Cala Morell to Els Alocs
We will begin the day with a transfer to the starting point of our hike. Today’s stretch will lead us through a rocky coast, home to some predatory birds- where we will be able to witness their low flying and some sheep grazing. We will come across some hypogeum and underground cisterns and a cross in remembrance of the General Chanzy sinking. The dune system shows a very dense endemic vegetation. Beside the necropolis, there is a small water spring. At Pla de Mar, we will come across a mine and a stony stretch. The trail crosses wooded areas inhabited by forest birds and mammals. The surroundings are rocks that house predatory birds like the Muntanya Mala. We then will continue to Els Alocs Beach. We will then transfer to Port Fornells where we will spend the night.

Port Fornells (arriving to Cap de Cavalleria)
Today we will pass one of the best-preserved and wildest areas of Menorca. We will begin the day with a transfer to Binimel·là Beach to start the hike that crosses magnificent dune beaches like Cala Mica, Cavalleria and Tirant. We then will pass the Fornells Beaches and arrive at Port Fornells- home to a paleo-Christian basilica form the 6th Century of Cap des Port and the wetland of Ses Salines. We will end the day at our accommodation at Port Fornells.
